Through Corliss’ coaching, I rediscovered myself.

“When I started working with Corliss, I was at what I felt to be a crossroads in my life having lived many years on autopilot raising my children and building a career. I had just sold my business and my girls were raised and independent, so what now? I had lived my life defined by two roles, businesswoman and mother, both accomplished but where to go from here? Who was I without those titles, and those roles? Through Corliss’ coaching, I rediscovered myself. She provided a safe environment where I could dive into my past to identify negative thoughts and beliefs, taught me how to release what no longer served me, to change my self talk so I could move forward in positivity and growth. I have learned that it’s okay if I am not everyone’s cup of tea. If I live my life with true intention, using my huge heart and kindness to guide me, then the only opinion that ever matters is mine. It’s okay to be my perfectly imperfect self. How amazingly freeing!! Because of my newfound acceptance, I have learned to find purpose in every single day, I have stepped out of my comfort zone, leaned into new experiences and most importantly I have trusted that I have, and am all I need, to achieve whatever my heart desires. "When I attended the very first Lead Your Life conference where I met Corliss, I was numb after experiencing trauma. I was struggling with anxiety, lacked confidence in myself and most days just went by in a blur. I knew I didn’t want to stay feeling that way so in desperation I registered for the conference and sheepishly took a seat at the back of the room. I am so glad I made the decision to go because something clicked that day. I felt myself shift through the inspirational speakers and throughout Corliss’ presentations. "When I first started taking Corliss’ workshops, I really wasn’t happy with my life or where it was going. I felt stuck in a job I didn’t like, I was financially stressed trying to pay bills, I was depressed and my relationship with my husband was hurting because of the way I was. I also gained a lot of weight and my health was deteriorating. When I started the reflections to my past, present, and future, I realized that I’ve become a person that I didn’t really like anymore. By working on myself and setting goals, I became the person I always wanted to be. My voice awakened and I started to build on that. I lost 56 pounds and my health is so much better. My relationship with my husband has become stronger. “I first found Corliss in March of 2021. I was a year out from my double mastectomy surgery from bilateral breast cancer. The anniversary brought a ton of emotions that I was not prepared for. I was also having some personal challenges as well, and it was all just very overwhelming. I knew I needed help, and by chance, I stumbled upon Corliss. She taught me to celebrate myself, accept myself, and love myself. I learnt how to focus on what I wanted to grow in my life, to set boundaries with certain people, and most importantly, that the only person I could change was myself. I truly believe that it is no accident that Corliss came into my life.

"I first met Corliss in 2017 when I attended her Lead Your Life Conference with a group of friends. Corliss came across as authentic, she was motivating, and her vibrant energy was contagious. I immediately knew that I wanted to work with her in some capacity. During that time, I was running a busy full-time pre-school, writing children’s picture books, and working on a personal development program for young kids. Oh, and I decided to dabble in an MLM venture on the side. Although I enjoy teaching, I felt overwhelmed, overworked, and stuck. A couple of months later a friend of mine arranged an intimate vision board workshop with Corliss and for the first time in a long time, I set my logical mind aside for a few hours and allowed myself to dream bigger. I didn’t realize it at the time, but that workshop had a profound effect on my life path. Since that workshop, I have made many of those big dreams a reality, including working with Corliss. Yes, I had a picture of Corliss on my vision board. Masterclass helped me find clarity and a couple of one-on-one coaching sessions with her strong leadership, allowed me to sort through overwhelm and define my purpose. Thanks to Corliss’s programs and mentorship I have been able to step into my zone of excellence. I am proud to say that I am a published children’s picture book author and thanks to Corliss, I am finally ready to share my empowerment program with children around the world as I launch my course and build my dream business. One of my favorite quotes is from a children’s movie called Kung Fu Panda and it’s, “There are no accidents”. I truly believe that it is no accident that Corliss came into my life. "When I first “met” Corliss I was drawn to her inspirational energy. I do believe everyone comes into your life at the right time. "When I started working with Corliss I was stuck in a cycle of fear of failure and self doubt. I had invested so much time learning a new career skill set but was still afraid and wondering “what if I can’t do it”. I was torn between being realistic and practical and daring to go for the BIG vision! This doubting and wondering left me feeling depleted of energy and joy. Working with Corliss helped me realize I was guided by other peoples opinion. I grew up in the public eye as my Dad was a public figure and that shaped my thinking and my belief. I was very good at standing on the sidelines and cheering for everyone else. Working with Corliss I realized I had created a persona that didn’t fail nor dare. It helped me identify where my limited thinking was coming from. Corliss helped me take inventory and I realized that I had been an observer rather then a participant in my own life to some degree. I went from wishing and hoping, to doing and achieving. The month following her mentorship I reached my goal of earning 10K and no longer do I fear to stumble on my way to greatness. Life is a gift and I’m embracing all it has to offer! I still have some pretty big and slightly scary things on my bucket list but have learned to navigate through the fear to do it anyway!

"During COVID I was diagnosed with breast cancer and the delay in treatment caused me to become frustrated and depressed. It seemed like there was nothing I could do about it.
